The Refuge is a community space in Fort Wayne, Indiana designed to welcome and empower immigrants and international families. More than just a building, it's a place where newcomers can find housing, resources, and community rooted in dignity, belonging, and the love of Jesus.

Now, we're inviting you to be part of making this vision a reality—brick by brick, room by room.

Our Vision: A Home for Welcome

We’ve acquired a property at 3901 S Wayne Ave and are renovating it into:

• Housing for international families in transition (6–12 months)

• Office and co-working space for immigrant-serving nonprofits and ministries

• Community space for events, cultural celebrations, and entrepreneurial support

 

How You Can Help

We are currently raising:

• $195,500 in gifts to fund renovations

• $200,000 through a crowdfunded Line of Credit (LOC)

You can partner with us by:

• Giving a gift (to The Refuge FW, LLC)

• Making a tax-deductible donation (through Empowered International, our nonprofit partner)

• Offering a loan at 0% interest (generous and mission-driven)

• Offering a loan at 1–7% interest (low/market-rate with Kingdom impact)
